ISB came to Traidhos for three days of fun in northern Thailand. The 160 Grade 9 students were able to pre-select their activities to ensure that there was something to suit every taste.
For the more adventurous students Monkey Madness (a day of rock climbing followed by a day of zip wiring) or Pedal and Paddle (a day’s biking followed by a day’s kayaking) posed challenging and wild experiences.
For those with a more artistic flair Cultural Kaleidoscope offered students the chance to create their own batik artwork and learn about theatre and puppetry with the Makhampom Foundation.
For those who wanted to make a difference, Valley Adventure combined a thrilling day on the river white water rafting with a community service project where students helped a local school.
There was even a trip for the eco-minded students who took part in Green Day - a visit to a self-reliant community farm and to the Elephant Nature Park where students explored issues of sustainability, conservation and their impact on the world.
