On 8 September 2016 Traidhos welcomed students from Ivanhoe Grammar, Australia for a nine-day, epic adventure, including time on the Barge.
The trip focused on different aspects: culture and adventure in Chiang Mai; ecology and history with the Barge and a community service project at Ban Pao Kindergarden near Sri Lanna National Park.

One of the highlights of the trips was to spend a day with local Thai students at Ban Pao Kindergarden. They painted a school wall, which involved creating their own design.
