What an adventure our grade 3's had on camp this last week. It began with a few fun games to get us warmed up in the chilly air. Then off we went on our boat ride in Chiang Mai, where we saw how everyone uses the river; whether fishing or relaxing along the shore at a fancy restaurant, we all use the River Ping. We thought about how we can care for our rivers everywhere. Once back on campus we moved into our home away from home the "Bunkhouse", and had an amazing BBQ dinner complete with campfire, songs and even toasted marshmallows.
The following day gave us an opportunity for mindfulness and poetry. The day culminated in a vibrant celebration for a grandmother tree here on campus.
